I've moved this blog....

From what I understand, blogspot is not easily accessible (if at all) in China, so I have moved our blog to www.babyjellybeans.com You need to type in Miller (first name) and Rohrs (last name) I will be keeping this one as it is, but all new postings from this point on will be at the jellyeans site. Thanks, Gail

LOA...hooray hooray!

We received our official Letter of Acceptance on Friday!! We signed it and Fed Exed it back to our agency the same day. Now, we just wait for our invitation to travel to China to bring our precious boy home. We are just over the moon. We also received some updated measurements on our little guy. He weighs 42 pounds and is 43 inches tall. I hope the clothes and underoos aren't too big !!

We have our official LID date!

February 12 is the official date that our dossier was logged in in China. This is the date that we "officially" (ha!) start the wait for travel approval. It is currently taking about 90 days, but of course we are hoping it will be a much shorter wait than that!!

New pics

We received several new pictures of Miller! A family who was there last week were able to get some photos while picking up their precious little guy. Enjoy both the pictures and one of my all time favorite songs. We are a blessed bunch!!

More good news!

Cruisin' the hood on my Dora bike

Delaney has two speeds...fast and FASTER!!

Boy! We thought the weekend couldn't get any better after receiving updates on Miller and then I checked the mail. Wow! We received our 171 after only two weeks! Incredible! Much better than the 3 months we were told it would take....I will take them to the Sec. of State on Tuesday for their certification, and then it's off to the consulate for the authentication. Hopefully, that will be a quick turn around so we can get our dossier out of our hands and into China's! Here are some pics of Delaney enjoying our unusually warm (at least for Michigan!) weather. Keep us in your prayers!

I finally figured out how to get all of our fundraising items in one place! Please go to www.theredbamboo.com if you'd like to check it out . Enjoy!

Updates on Miller

The new year.....

2007 is off to a flying start! Randy turned 39 on the 4th, Regan began her reharsals for "The Miracle Worker"( she was cast as Helen Keller) Taylor has grown about a foot, and Ms. Laney Liu Who is...well...Laney. We are blessed with numerous art creations everyday thanks to all of the wonderful paints, markers, crayons, etc that she received for Christmas. We also rearranged the bedroom so the girls no longer share one. We knew it was time when Delaney began wearing her "Delaney needs quiet time, do not disturb for 10 minutes" sign around her neck rather than hanging it from the door to their room. They are both thrilled with having their own space, although Delaney says she didn't realize it was such hard work having your own room. She is responsible for cleaning it herself now since she no longer has JieJie to pick up after her. Taylor and Jethro are also enjoying their bachelor pad downstairs. Until Miller comes home, they have it all to themselves. It comes complete with computer, television, and the real slot machine Taylor received for Christmas!! (Thanks again Nana and PopPop!) We are still waiting for our 171. I have it from a very good source (Thanks Renee!) that is only taking a month rather than the 3 the USCIS Detroit office quotes. so we expect it by the end of January. We are on track to have our paperwork to China in February, so keep us in your thoughts! In the meantime enjoy the new pics! Enjoying my new tea set with Granny
