Finally.....some news!

We received word from our social worker that our homestudy has been notarized and is in the mail. Now the wait for the 171 begins.....In the meantime, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We hosted dinner at our home this year and we had a lot of fun. The kids decorated their gingerbread houses after dinner and they did quite a fine job! We are looking forward to Christmas in just a few weeks now. Oh My! Regan auditioned for the part of Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker tonight...we should hear back by the end of the week! Taylor is looking forward to a few weeks off and Delaney is out of her mind with excitement! She rode in a wagon with her preschool class in the Jingle Bell parade this past weekend. She was so excited about it, that it was ALL we talked about for a week! Alas, it was freezing the night of the parade and she was numb when daddy pulled her from the wagon, so we went to Applebees for hot chocolate. We also went to a Christmas Party at Frederick Meijer Gardens last night. We saw about a dozen little Chinese girls running around. It is always fun to watch them interact with one another. They seem to naturally draw together!! We saw many beautiful trees decorated from different countries and rode the tram around the sculpture park. It was a fun evening, and hopefully we will be making it an annual tradition. Here are some pics from the last few weeks, and have a Very Merry Christmas!!
